Everything you need to nail the take

Below is the real OneTake — the exact app you get after buying, running live in your browser. Open it fullscreen and try it, then read how each part works.

Not a screenshot — the actual app. On a phone, open fullscreen and turn to landscape.

01Record

Snip mistakes the moment they happen

Hit record and keep rolling. Flub a line? Tap Snip to drop the last 5, 10, 30 or 60 seconds — OneTake marks that span as a cut on the timeline and keeps going. No stopping, no scrubbing, no lost momentum. The mistake simply never makes it into your file. This is the live overlay, not a picture of one — watch the timer and timeline move.

02Your layout

Shrink to a slim pill when you want to disappear

Switch the recorder to a compact horizontal pill that tucks into the edge of your screen, or keep the full card — your overlay, your call. Paired with Ghost Mode it hides from OBS and screen shares, and can go frosted and click-through so it floats quietly out of the way while you present.

Hotkeys

Run the whole take from the keyboard

Every action has a global hotkey, so you never tab back to OBS mid-recording. Watch the overlay react as each shortcut fires — and rebind any of them to your own muscle memory.

Everything else

The rest of what OneTake does

You just used all of this in the app above — here it is in one glance.

Non-destructive snips

Every snip is a marked cut, not a deleted frame. Nudge or clear any cut before you commit — nothing is lost until you export.

Ghost Mode

Keep the overlay on your screen but out of your recording. Hide it from OBS and screen shares, frosted and click-through.

Cut-aware preview

Watch your take back with every snip skipped automatically, so you review the finished cut — not the raw recording.

One file, or an EDL

Export a single merged file with your cuts applied, or an EDL in JSON, CMX3600, FCPXML or Premiere/Resolve XML for any editor.

Native on every desktop

Windows, macOS and Linux, with background updates on Windows and Linux. Your license covers two devices, managed from your dashboard.

You've tried it — now make it yours

That was the real app, not a demo reel. When it's what you want, buy once and download it for your own OBS setup.
