Terms of Service
Last updated: July 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OneTake desktop application and website. By downloading, installing, or using OneTake, you agree to these Terms.
Your license
When you purchase OneTake you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to install and use the app on up to two devices for your personal or business use. The license is tied to your account and may not be resold or sublicensed.
Updates
Your purchase includes one year of updates from the date of purchase. After that year you may optionally subscribe to continue receiving updates. The updates subscription can be cancelled at any time; if you do not renew or you cancel, the last version you were entitled to keeps working — you simply stop receiving new releases until you renew.
Payments
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. Your transaction is subject to Paddle's buyer terms in addition to these Terms. Prices are shown before checkout and may vary by region and applicable tax.
Refunds and cancellation
You can evaluate the complete app in full through the interactive demo on our website before buying, so purchases of the lifetime license are final and non-refundable — except (a) where a refund is required by the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country, or (b) where a purchased build does not work as described on a supported setup and we are unable to fix it, in which case we will refund you. The optional updates subscription can be cancelled at any time and remains active until the end of the current billing period; cancelling never affects your perpetual license. See the refund policy for details.
Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent the app's licensing, and not to use OneTake to create content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others. You are solely responsible for the content you record.
Your content
OneTake processes video on your own device. You retain all rights to everything you record. We claim no ownership of your content and have no access to it.
Availability
We work to keep the service reliable but provide it "as is". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update the app to maintain compatibility and security.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneTake is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost recordings or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using OneTake at any time.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
