Refund Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
You can try the complete OneTake app right in your browser — the interactive demo on our homepage is the real interface, the same app you get after buying. Because you can evaluate it in full before paying, OneTake is sold with a no-refund policy, with one fair exception spelled out below.
Try the whole app first — for free, in your browser
The demo on our homepage isn't a video or a screenshot: it's the actual OneTake interface running live. Open it, click through every screen — connect, record, snip, preview, export, settings — and confirm it's what you want. Nothing about the app is hidden behind the purchase; the only thing buying unlocks is the ability to download and run it on your own machine with OBS.
No refunds
Because you can fully evaluate OneTake before you buy, all sales of the lifetime license are final and non-refundable. A purchase permanently unlocks the app on your account, and that unlock can't be handed back once granted.
If it doesn't work, we'll make it right
The exception is simple and fair: if you buy OneTake and it doesn't work as described on a supported setup, we won't leave you stuck. Contact us with your purchase email and a description of the problem and we will fix the issue — and if we genuinely can't get it working for you, we'll refund you. We'd always rather solve the problem than lose you.
Cancel your updates subscription anytime
The optional updates subscription renews yearly and can be cancelled at any time, from your dashboard or by contacting us. Cancelling keeps every update you already paid for through the end of the current period, and never affects your perpetual license — the app keeps working, frozen at your last entitled version. There's no cancellation fee and no "contact us to cancel" hoop.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here removes any refund or cancellation right you have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country. Where such a right applies, it stands regardless of the above. Payments and any refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
